In an attempt to keep myself inspired, I gave myself a challenge of taking photos with my iPhone to document everyday moments in my life in a particular way. Like a lot of people, most of the pictures on my phone are moments with my friends or of things that I saw that caught my attention. Often, I would go days thinking I wasn't inspired enough to justify taking a quick photo. But then I thought about it again and realized, it was that I wasn't keeping my eyes open. I was distracted by everyday worries like work and bills and had passed by all of these moments that I would of had the chance to stop and experience. The goal is to take a conscious effort to recognize these moments - and if it doesn't take away from the moment too much, document it as well.
Long story short, this project is about stopping to smell the roses. And maybe even take a picture of them, too.
